Registration
In order to get access to EdReady for Educate Texas, you must be given a URL from your school.
IMPORTANT: you will only use that URL for registration - after your account has been confirmed, you will always log in at the main EdReady for Educate Texas login page (details here).
That URL will give you access to a page like this:
Enter the following details to register with EdReady:
- Username: the username you'll enter when logging in. This can be an email address but does not have to be one. Make sure you pick something you can remember: we suggest writing it down!
- First & Last Name
- Email Address: this needs to be an email address you can access while working in EdReady. If you need to reset your password, EdReady will send a message to this address.
- Password: must be least 8 characters, contain at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one special character (!.@#$&*), and one numeral
Click Next to continue. You will be taken to a page similar to this:
- Confirmation Method: select Email or Phone Number: your confirmation email or code will be sent here, so be sure that you can access this account
- IMPORTANT: if you ever need to reset your password, you'll need to use this same email address and/or phone number, so make sure you remember what you enter.
- Depending on your needs, you'll see which subject(s) you're assigned to work on in EdReady. (If you end up needing math or English added later, your school can do that for you.)
- Select the following values from the dropdown menus:
- Graduation Year (required): choose the year you will graduate high school
- School (required): select your school
- Program (required): select the program you're participating in
- Depending on how your school is using EdReady, you may see the following dropdowns:
- Section: English: if you are studying English with TCB, then select your section here: your teacher should tell you the right value to pick.

--If you're not sure what to pick, you can always update or add your section later - Section: Math: if you are studying math with TCB, then select your section here: your teacher should tell you the right value to pick.

- Agree to the Terms of Use
Click the Register button to submit the form.
You'll receive an on-screen confirmation message that your registration has been received.
If you receive an error message, correct any problems and click the Register button again.
Confirm your Account
Depending on the confirmation method selected, check your email or cell phone for a message from EdReady:
Confirm via Email:
Check your inbox for a message like this - click on the link in the message to confirm your account:
The link in this email is valid for 72 hours (3 days). If you are unable to confirm your account within that timeframe, you will need to register again.
Confirm via Phone Number:
Check your phone for a message from EdReady:
Click on the link in the message to confirm your account
NOTE: the link in this message is only valid for 5 minutes, so you must confirm your account right away. Otherwise, your teacher to confirm your account for you.
You may see a quick on-screen confirmation that your account has been activated. You are now ready to begin using EdReady!
