How to Change a Student's Name

Students cannot change their own names after registration. However, teachers can change student names to correct misspellings, legal name changes, and so forth.

1. Log into the Educate Texas portal.
2. Click on the "Manage" button.
3. Click on the "Students" tab.
4. Locate the student's account by filtering the appropriate column(s).
5. Click on the blue "Edit" button in the right column.
6. Make edits to the student's name as needed.
7. Click "Save" when finished.
